Welcome to Sweetwater Coffeehouse
Sweetwater Coffeehouse aims to serve craft coffee and espresso while preserving the integrity of the ingredients and the environment. Nestled in the beauty of the valley, Sweetwater Coffee-
house stands as a business where sustainable practices, high quality ingredients, and an atmosphere fueled by the local art and community are highly valued. Our customers are enriched with the sweet, artsy spirit of Sautee while experiencing the beauty of the North Georgia mountains.

Our History
Sweetwater Coffeehouse has been a special place in the valley since it was founded by Eric and Anna Anderson in 1995. In 2009, Carolyn Hayes took ownership and continued to cultivate the welcoming environment the Andersons created.

Today, current owners Ben Dockins and Betsy Ledbetter are grateful for the opportunity to carry on the Sweetwater Coffeehouse legacy, continuing to serve only organic coffee from Thanksgiving Coffee Company. As local potters, Ben and Betsy also plan to invest more energy into expanding the handmade mugs, plates, and other items that have often been found at Sweetwater.

Our Mission
Sustainably Focused

Locally Fueled
Above all else, we value our community. It's thanks to the wonderful folks of Sautee and our broader community that we've been able to keep our doors open for 29 years so far. We're looking forward to many more years of growing our community further and getting to serve you all!
